Mom's Night In (Besites Reunion)

Fridayyyyy blessing! This was a last-minute plan. My former art school colleague and friend since 2013 with whom I only meet rarely since we both became mothers, even if we live in the same city. The gap got bigger since the pandemic because she isolated herself since then. Spountlosly she called and offered to come over with Thai dinner and snacks and some alcohol-free treats since she doesn't drink and I am on a detox period except for Mothers day and my birthday ;-) 

However, I did expect the evening to turn into a real feast, and to my surprise, she brought me an early birthday gift, a collection of things I love which means she really knows me well hehe... The outdoor wine glasses she bought were exactly what I am googling a few days ago because our neighbour bought similar ones and I thought of having a new collection for our picnics because I forgot my old ones in Egypt ( The freak I am haha I took my own outdoor glasses with me on vacation because I do not like drinking in the wrong glass). 

We enjoyed catching up on our lives, share our recommendations since we both specify in the UX and digital design field and enjoying the balcony view and movies I will share later in another post. 

The alcohol-free cocktail contained: cranberry juice, sparkling alcohol-free lemon cider and egg white, shaken very well in a cocktail shaker with ice and served in a martini glass.
