Wedding Guest Outfit: How To Make a Casual Dress Formal

I recently bought a lovely pair of snake print pumps in black and white that look so beautiful and stylish. I am planning to wear them with this casual hot pink dress from H&M in a coming up wedding event which has No / Optional dressing code.

To turn any casual dress to formal, the secret lays in the accessories and how to dress up the details. For me I am going to style this dress with silver shiny accessories + clutch with these pumps and smoky purple make up. Nude pumps and clutches can also be an option for hot pink dresses.

I hope you enjoy this inspiration and celebrity outfit finds that show how hot pink casual dress look nice for events.

Personal Style: Weekend In Rome

Before heading to Rome I had to plan an outfit code to match with our destination. In May the weather was still cold here in Sweden so I had to pack for spring / summer temperature. Rome is known with its brown, beige and red buildings.. and the beautiful nature around it, water and green parks so I got the muse from its travel photos over the internet. I hope you like this inspiration from my personal closet.

Swedish Rhubarb Crumble (Rabarberpaj)

Today I made this delicious pie ( Crumble ) for dessert, my sweetheart loved it and I thought of taking a photo of it and share the receipt with you guys. I hope you enjoy it!

For filling

• 10 ounces rhubarb, trimmed weight, chopped into 3/4-inch chunks
• 4 tablespoons granulated sugar
• 1 teaspoon cornstarch

For crumble topping

• 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
• 1/3 cup light brown sugar
• 5 tablespoons softened unsalted butter
• 1 cup oats
• 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

For the filling, put the chopped rhubarb, granulated sugar, and cornstarch in a large bowl and toss together, making sure that the fruit is well covered. Transfer the rhubarb into the 8-inch ovenproof dish, packing the fruit down well.

For the crumble topping, mix the flour and light brown sugar together in a separate bowl. Add the butter and rub it in with your fingertips, making sure that there are a few pea-sized lumps of butter left. Stir in the oats and cinnamon, and mix together well.

Pile the crumble topping onto the rhubarb and spread it out, taking care not to pack it down too firmly. Place the ovenproof dish on a baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes, until the fruit is soft and the crumble is golden brown on top.

Set aside to rest for 5 to 10 minutes before serving hot or warm with thick cream. This is best eaten the day it is made, or stored overnight in the refrigerator.

Computer Eye Strain: 10 Steps for Relief

Hello blog readers. For the past few months I've been suffering from eye strain due to long working hours using computer and incisive focus requirementAs well as the lack of good deep sleep during the light nights we get here in Sweden in spring / summer time. This eye fatigue caused my eyes to look a bit red and swelling (puffiness under the eyes ) until I tired Clear Eyes eye drop , which gave me an unbelievable and fast relief. Even the puffiness has been magically reduced , and noticed from the first morning.

Despite all the online tips and ticks Ive read and tired this really worked for my case. If you think that your eyes might be suffering from eye strain and tiredness here is the signs that would prove it:

Eye fatigue is associated with uncomfortable and annoying symptoms, such as:

  • Sore or irritated eyes.
  • Difficulty focusing.
  • Dry or watery eyes.
  • Blurred or double vision.
  • Increased sensitivity to light.
  • Pain in the neck, shoulders, or back.

10 Steps for Relief

1. Get a comprehensive eye exam.
2. Use proper lighting.
3. Minimize glare.
4. Upgrade your display.
5. Adjust your computer display settings.
7. Exercise your eyes.
8. Take frequent breaks.
9. Modify your workstation.
10. Consider computer eyewear.

Rid of Puffy Eyes and  Dark Circles:

Know the causes:

  2. Allergies that can cause inflammation and swelling
  3. Sinus problems
  4. Dehydration
  5. Fatigue and lack of sleep
  6. Stress
  7. Crying
  8. Aging
  9. Inherited facial features

Other useful treat to try:

-Using eye drops for irritation caused by allergies, if appropriate.
-Drinking ample fluid to prevent dehydration.
-Applying iced compresses when your lids are swollen.
-Applying cucumber slices or chilled tea bags over closed eyes.
-Using creams and other skin products specially formulated for use around the eyes.
-Reducing salt in your diet.
-Eating potassium-rich foods, such as bananas, to eliminate excess fluids in your body.

In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs with half the milk.

I needed to go back to the healthy food routine again. I hope you enjoy this light meal!

2 round zucchini
1 big eggplant or 2 small
1 bell pepper
25 g butter

1 cup quinoa

1 tsp black pepper
A pinch of salt

A bunch of arugula

Quinoa: Combine 1 cup quinoa with 2 cups water in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer until quinoa is tender, about 15 minutes. Quinoa holds lots of water, so you have to make sure you drain it thoroughly after it's cooked.

Vegetables: Cut the vegetables into cubes first. And In a low heat melt the butter in a pan and add the vegetables. Add black pepper and salt then cover the pan and let it cook for about 10 minutes until the vegetables become tender.

Finally bring together the mixtures in a deep dish as shown in the photo above, use the arugula for the topping and serve.

Useful information

Quinoa  grain has been called a superfood,a term which is not in common use by dietitians and nutrition scientists.

Arugula has: Vitamin A  47% Vitamin C 25%  Calcium 16% Iron
