On this day the kids finally woke up with dad being home. He drove all night from Stockholm so he had to stay in bed late. We continued doing our regular daily routine so he can get some rest. Later after a lovely pasta casserole lunch, we went out for our usual snack picnic in the park, picked lilies of the valley flowers and took Alicia for another walking training tour around the garden.
To my surprise, David brought an early "Mother's day" cake because he is leaving tomorrow and won't be with us on mothers day. I found that to be sweet and kind... I on the other hand prepared a lovely creamy "Saithe filet" fish dinner with yellow onions, whip cream, fresh mustard and thyme .. Swedish Recipe here
