Julia The knight

Julia has been very attached to me for the past few months and refused all sleepovers with family members. Only when I really had to travel or have something important she accepted to sleep away but that involved a lot of drama and crying, and "mom guilt" when I faced timed her. But this week all of a sudden Julia managed to spend two days away with her grandparents; Tuesday, Friday and Saturday evening she came back without any complaints, in fact, she wanted to stay one more night with them and cried so badly when they left.

It's healthy for her to spend time in the suburbs there where her grandparents and cousins live. She spent quality time with the boys there doing outdoor activities and watched and supported them during their football matches. Then she did some horse riding and other social activities with grandma visiting the relatives.

I like the compensation of qualities she is learning from everyone else besides her parents, everyone she gets to spend time with is a bonus, so she can absorb people has various personalities and interests.. not only see the world from one perspective thought her parents, especially that the age before 7 is when the child shape her first subconscious base and perspective about the world and people/gender role, that will be the root of her future personality.
