Crispy Waffles Recipe Without Egg ( Swedish Recipe )

I highly recommend this as a treat for Valentine Breakfast. One of our favorite winter treats is Waffles (VÃ¥fflor in Swedish). What I love about them is that you can get creative with the topping every time you make them. My new favorite topping is banana and coconut powder with whipped cream. Enjoy the recipe below!

Ingredients

100g butter
or 50 g of butter and 0.5 cups whipping cream (unaerated)
300 g flour - 3 dl
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
400 ml milk - 4 dl

Method:

First prepare the whip cream.

Melt the butter and let cool while you whisk together the rest of the waffle ingredients.

Measure the flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl. Mix. Whisk in half of the milk and whisk until smooth. Beat then the rest of the milk, melted butter and ev. the cream until smooth.

Leave to swell for about 20-30 minutes.

Heat a waffle iron. Brush the griddle with butter before baking the first waffle.

The butter melted by the heat so it is easy to brush out. It is enough to do this before the first waffle.

For each waffle: Beat around the batter carefully into the bottom so that the batter covers almost the entire griddle. Bake the waffles until golden brown. It usually takes 1-2 minutes.

NOTE! It is important to whisk the mixture between each waffle as flour rapidly sink to the bottom.

Serve the waffles freshly made, often with cream and fresh berries or jam. Eat and enjoy!
