Such a lovely experience traveling by Hertz Freerider, a road trip to Gothenburg then further south, switching car and back home. I loved our stay in the heart of the city and near everything including the train station because we are a family of 4 and have lots of baggage plus 2 car seats to carry.
Scandic Europa was extremely kids friendly, we got a bed for Julia and an extra baby crib. My favorite was the "bubble bath" woohooo where I got to chill and relax after all the walking and exploring in the city. The breakfast was the scandic standard which has a bit of everything and always included the kids-friendly options.
Unfortunately, everything we planned to visit was fully booked and had limited bookings because of covid. So luckily found this Dinosaur Park that Julia enjoyed and Slottskogen park where she got to see penguins for the first time and actually me too :-)
We made sure to dine in KFC because we don't have it here in our region västernorland. I loved trying middle eastern food there and we ate with our family friends at Pinchos since it's the top family kids friendly place for family travelers who would like to enjoy both tapas and a drink in a colorful circus atmosphere.
