Cod Fish With Pepper and Tomato Sauce



Ingredients

1 package frozen
fish, 400 g
Salt and pepper
1 small red onion
1 red bell pepper
Butter to frying
1 jar of crushed tomatoes sauce
1 clove garlic
1 tablespoon lobster lamb or 1/2 chicken broth
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1 1/2 dl cooking cream

*Use basil or any fresh herb you have for decoration

Method

Divide the fish into 4 pieces, add salt and peppers to it. I usually pre-steam the cod for 5 min before but this is totally optional. 

Chop the onion and the peppers and grind it softly in butter. Pour the tomatoes and fund. Stir the spices and pour on the cream. Let boil.

Put the fish pieces over a little tomato sauce. Put on a lock and simmer for about 10 minutes until the fish is cooked. Serve with pasta, rice or potatoes.
