One Week In BarcelonaSaturday, January 9, 2016
We started our new year in Barcelona. We started by celebrating my father in laws 60 years old birthday. We had a comfortable lovely stay at hilton hotel and took bus tours for two days to discover the city.
The city of barcelona is rich with art and amazing architectures inspired by the Catalonian culture. I was amazed by the buildings from the time of the modernisme movement in 1888. The city planning is very organized, wide streets and lovely long windows on all buildings.
The local food was very delicious, yummy tapas, paila and lots of seafood mix plates. I didn't have any bad food experience luckily..
For shopping its an open wide world for crazy shoppers. Lots of brand stores, everywhere.. many stores of the same brand are only few kilometers from each other made me wonder if all spanish people are shopaholics.. Here are some of my photos of the week in Barcelona, the city of art and sport.
