Smart Housekeeping Tricks

Hello blog readers! I just started a new category I named it Home and Garden because I have a collection of smart house keeping tricks that I would like to share with you in a series of post. Feel free to pin your favorits and I would like to hear your feedback once you tried some of them. Here we go!

1- Try this on your stove and your home will have a wonderful fresh, clean fragranc. Make Your House smell Like Williams Sonoma A few sprigs of rosemary, lemon slices and a teaspoon of vanilla in a pot and let it simmer on the stove. This is a recipe that they use at William Sonoma Home stores, and we all love how that shop smells, Yum!!

2- To get the water spots off of chrome faucets, after cleaning rub them with a piece of waxed paper- it will keep the water spots and fingerprints from sticking to the clean metal. You can also use a piece of waxed paper on your swifter sweeper. Just rip off a piece the size of the sweeper, attach, and wipe away. The dirt sticks to the paper- so much cheaper than buying the refill kits.

3- Use salt as iron cleaner. Eliminate sticky residue from an iron. Run the hot iron (no steam) over plain paper sprinkled with salt.

Enjoy it!
