Back home after 7 days in Finland including the 24 hours cruise. We had such a lovely time and the girls were both exhausted with bathing and swimming, boat sightseeing and other kids' activities we did while there which I will write about in another Mom life/family post.
This blog post is about me turning 36, a special number indeed and it was celebrated in-suite hotel rooms for two nights each. The first two nights were in Clarion Hotel Aviapolis near the airport, the second two nights Clarion Hotel in the city centre with sea view one where we moved on my birthday day and spent a cosy evening in and chilled out, stress-free and very kids/mom friendly plan.
David asked if I wanted to have dinner outside but I thought what a full-time mom need is a peaceful break, ordering food, having a drink, and playing classics and Arabic music while the kids play in the bathtub is the best gift I can give myself.
After all, I did not expect the whole trip to turn out this way. A happy relaxed, stress-free mom. Time to count my blessing and away from all household tasks is the best gift one can get at this age. Gratitude!
