Hi, again, loyal readers! I just realised that I forgot to update you guys with my recent health news. One of my readers just asked how the brain scan went? So I remembered that I only posted an update on Instagram but not here.
Well, to begin with, I am all fine. The scan results showed no concern at all, it was clear, and I am proven to be 100% healthy with all types of tests they have done on me, including vision tests. But despite that, I was still determined to try to change many of my lifestyle habits to reduce stress and discomfort. Even though it's challenging to do so as a full time 24/7 mom and student, I started making small changes that showed lots of improvements recently. My eyes asymmetry is almost gone, and my eyes are getting back to normal. I stopped using Bluetooth headphones. I also bought a gummy chewing object to help adjust the jaw from the after braces effect, so things are going in the right direction. Besides supplements and probiotics, I use activated charcoal during fasting and consume only healthy, clean foods and beverages, including kombucha and lots and lots of herbal ginseng/ginger/matcha tea.
However, I plan to cancel all courses I applied for during this summer season to focus only on the kids and have a great quality time the entire summer "guilt-free" before they both start school for good in August. This decision was made based on the self-compassion tips to tame down the ambitious version of me who always wants things done at a fast speed.
Furthermore, as part of the self-compassion manual, now that I got my extra taxes refunded, I planned to take a small getaway from the hectic routine of home life and winter boredom. So I just booked a trip to France yesterday with my dear daughter to get some fresh air and seafood. Besides getting relief from the Mediterranean homesickness.
If only I could take her to see where I grew up and the sea that was a big part of my life growing up and where I felt most alive.
