Just got back home to finally catch my breath. This holiday was my first as a mother and I gotta confess it was both more fun and very busy. As usual we spent Christmas with my hubby's family. You can see Julia in the picture with her two cousins on Christmas Eve.
We were not that lucky with snow this year in our city but traveling to the mountains on the 3th day of Christmas kind of gave us the "It started to look a lot like Christmas" feeling.. just a bit late! :-)
Julia cached cold for the first time which made the mountain trip and new year eve less fun for me. I didn't even take any photos or do any activities other than being by her side. Luckily her grandparents joined us on Friday night and we got more help taking care of her. I was trying hardly to stay positive and enjoy my time. And was reminding myself that we are lucky she didn't get until almost 10 months, instead of early first months of her birth.
Right now with the beginning of the new year and month, I am trying to get productive as much as possible. Tick off all what is left of To Do's from last year and get back on track after the 9 months pregnancy and 9 months maternity that shifted my priorities.
On the other hand I started filling up a 10 years diary book to write down our family daily notes apart from Julia's development book. As we live by the pilots schedule ... I am also trying to get organized even more with our own timetable at home, marking the calendar and doing project lists so that our dates match and no time is wasted.
