Personal Style: Black, Brown And Grey

Back with one more personal style post that I would like to share with you, And its about the early fall season colors. Grey is one of the colors I ador and I like to mix it with brighter colors. But now since its getting little bit colder, windy and rainy where I live, darker colors became my current choice for the season.

I don't like brown so much so I only pick it in the small details such as accessories, not only in outfit or interior but also when I paint. Keep it simple with warm dark colors this fall and go for black, brown and grey :-)

Improve Your Vision with Deepak Chopra's Eye Exercises

These eye exercises are taken from Dr. Chopra's audio tape set Magical Mind. Magical Body.  Research shows that what we take in through our sight profoundly influences our physiology, i.e. heart rate, blood pressure, hormones, etc. Enhanced sensory perception can result in improvement in memory, creativity, attention span, and learning ability. The following procedures are designed to improve vision, the sense of color perception and access different information in consciousness.

Do everyday for 5 to 6 minutes.

Never go to a point of strain or fatigue.

Rest for 10 seconds in between exercises by closing eyes.

Do with corrective lenses removed.

Exercise to increase sensitivity to light by stimulating the rods and cones of the retina which are responsible for light perception. With eyes closed, look in the direction of the sun or a full spectrum light for 15 to 20 seconds.

Exercise to improve color perception, to make colors more vibrant and lively by stimulating cones for color perception. This exercise of watching the colors in the quantum mechanical body has a spontaneous healing effect. With eyes closed, look in the direction of the sun or a full spectrum light for 15 to 20 seconds. With eyes still closed, massage the eyeballs with the finger tips for another 15 to 20 seconds. Continuing to keep eyes closed gently turn the head away from the sun and back until the whole range of the color spectrum is exposed.

Exercise to prevent or decrease rigidity in the lens, ie decrease of fluid in the lens such as in cataracts. This exercise improves flexibility, pliability, and elasticity to the lens. Focusing - To change the focal length of the lens & improve the internal muscles of the eyeballs, look at an object up close and then at a distance. For example look at your hand 6 inches from your face and then look at an object on the horizon. Repeat this exercise for 15 times without straining.

Distant reading - Pin up on the wall some reading matter and every day move back a little bit to read it.

Close reading - Every day move up a little bit to read the pin-up on the wall.

Exercise to tone the eyelids - Blink eyelids hard and rapidly for 30 seconds.

Exercises using matras or fixed positions of the eye to strengthen the extra-ocular muscles (external muscles of the eyeball which are responsible for eye movement and coordination). This exercise allows us to access different information in consciousness. Holding these fixed positions increases brain wave coherence and strengthens memory, learning ability, increases attention span; all of which lead to a more stable physiology.

Holding the head up, looking straight ahead:

Look up and to the left. Hold this fixed position for 15 seconds. This exercise strengthens the ability of visual recall and is spontaneously made when we want to recall a visual memory.

Look down and to the left. Hold this fixed position for 15 seconds. This movement accesses auditory memory and is spontaneously made when we want to recall a musical tune.

Look up and to the right. Hold this fixed position for 15 seconds. This movement accesses the ability to create new visual forms.

Look down and to the right. Hold this fixed position for 15 seconds. This movement accesses kinesthetic recall and is spontaneously made when we want to recall an experience of touch.

Look to the directly to the right. Hold this fixed position for 15 seconds. This movement accesses the ability to create new sound forms.

Look down to the end of the nose. Hold this fixed position for 15 seconds. This movement accesses the ability to strengthen olfactory sense.

Look down toward the tongue. Hold this fixed position for 15 seconds. This movement accesses the ability to strengthen gustatory senses.

Look upward and inward trying to look at the space between the eyebrows. Hold this position for 15 seconds. This movement accesses the ability to heighten intuition.

Tech Digital Free Camping Trip

So as I promised you guys, here is the post about our tech / digital free camping trip. Last Friday we headed by car to the mountains Oldflån Ansätten for the weekend, four hours up north drive from where we live. On the way I have locked my sim card, wifi and all tech devices except for the camera, because sometimes I had to use it just do document some moments of the trip.

To get to the location we wanted to camp in which is a river side behind the mountain, we had to park the car and hike for 13 klm and it took us three and half hours of hiking. We took some short rest breaks just to drink water or rest from the bag pack weight. Getting to the spot felt like reaching heaven because hiking up hill with the heavy weight took the best of us.

Once we got to the river side ( No cars road in that whole area) in the middle of huge forest, we builded our tent, organized everything and started up some fire. My guy started fishing after that and he got us some really yummy fish, all I did was sitting next to him meditating and taking in nature the first few hours.

Surprisingly there was no mosquito's around, it was clean air, perfect temperature, calm and the only sound we heard is birds singing.

We grilled the fish and some other food we brought with us the old way on wood sticks we collected. We made sure to collect enough wood to keep the fire on all night long and enjoyed the sunset while having good quality conversations over the sounds of the nature until we called it a day. At night I heard some deers who came over around our tent sniffing, because they had bells around their necks.

The day had to leave, we got up early made breakfast and packed everything to head back to where came from experiencing the same hiking challenge until we reached the cars road.

Sunday Detox: Detox Diet Start Guide

Hello buddies I want to share with you some of the information I collected about starting a detox diet plan. Before you start doing a body detox by juicing or eating only raw food or following a daily menu, there are somethings you need to know.

Take the Toxicity Quiz. This tells you if you have FLC Syndrome (where you “Feel Like Crap”). If you do the quiz before starting a detox and then again after completion it , you should see a difference. Take the quiz now.

To start your detox, get rid of all the junk food lurking in your cabinets and fridge. Anything containing the following toxic ingredients should be tossed or set aside because you wont be eating anything processed over the next 10 days. Toss everything or keep out of sight:

  • Anything that is not real food (e.g. anything made in a factory that comes in a can, box or package) unless it is a canned whole food such as sardines or artichokes with only a few real ingredients such as water or salt
  • Any food or drink that contains added sugar (including honey, molasses, agave, maple syrup, organic cane juice or artificial sweeteners), especially any sugar-sweetened beverages or fruit juices
  • Anything that contains hydrogenated oils and refined vegetable oils (like corn or soybean oil)
  • Any foods with artificial sweeteners, preservatives, additives, coloring, or dyes – basically anything that has a label or is processed in any way
  • Anything sugar or flour based (cookies, cakes, candies, etc.)
  • Grains (rice, oats, quinoa) and all foods made from flours (crackers, pasta, bread, pretzels, etc.)
  • Starches (sweet potato, potato, squash, parsnip, beets, etc.)
  • Beans and legumes (chickpeas, lentils, peanuts, kidney beans, etc.)
  • Dairy (yogurt, sour cream, cheese, milk, etc.)
  • Coffee and anything caffeinated (tea, soft drinks, lattes, etc.)
  • Alcohol (wine, beer, spirits, etc.)

Try to also unplug yourself from technology, read a book or magazine and listen to some relaxing music (instruments melodies ). This will help you detox also spiritually from within. I recommend my cousins piano song covers youtube channel :

Back with one more of "my style" sets. This one up here is one of the outfits I adore when out for dinner. We all know that animal print never goes out of fashion and especially if you add black and gold accessories. Its simple, timeless and chic!
